All items for sale from the Gifts-a-Plenty web site are bound by our terms and conditions. In confirming your order on our site you are agreeing to be bound by the following:-
PRIVACY & SECURITY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

NB : We use a secure payment system for processing all orders provided by PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make a payment. If you would like more information regarding PayPal security then please visit the PayPal Security Centre we do NOT see any of those details

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

PROCESSING OF ORDERS
No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Gifts-a-Plenty until we dispatch the product(s) ordered. We will confirm that the product(s) have been dispatched by a confirmation email. This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by Gifts-a-Plenty of your offer to buy goods from Gifts-a-Plenty or a third party supplier that is engaged on your behalf by us (whether or not you receive that e-mail). You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communicating with you.
On confirmation of an order you are confirming that all the details provided are accurate.
You must check that the details on this confirmatory e-mail are correct as soon as possible and you should print out and keep a copy of it.
We will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party except PayPal, who require them for the purposes of processing your payment.
You undertake that all details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered

METHOD OF PAYMENT
PayPal will take your payment with the addition of delivery costs (where applicable) at the time of order. If your card cannot be verified through PayPal the order will not be dispatched. In the event that we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified and will be refunded in full.
OTHER WAYS TO PAY
 If you prefer not to order through our website and wish to pay by cheque or postal order, please email: orders@gifts-a-plenty.co.uk for details. We only accept cheques drawn on UK sterling bank accounts. Sorry, but we do not accept Euro cheques, gift or book tokens.

UK SHIPPING INFORMATION
We try to keep costs to a minimum for the customer we calculate postage by weight and use Royal Mail 2nd Class Standard on a majority of our items, Royal Mail Standard Parcel Rate for the larger items. If you require Recorded Delivery or extra insurance please e-mail us prior to purchasing.
There Will Be Additional Surcharge For The Following Postcodes
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland - postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly - postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25
For items in stock, we will try to dispatch your order the same or next day. Your order should usually arrive in 3 to 5 days.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INFORMATION
We are predominately an Online Gift Shop for UK customers.
However we welcome International buyers and would ask you to contact us via e-mail overseabuyers@gifts-a-plenty.co.uk  if you see something you would like to purchase. We will then send you a PayPal invoice with the correct postage for your country. If you agree with the total and wish to go ahead with the sale, we ask that you pay within 7 days to avoid disappointment.
AVAILABILITY
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your order cannot be fulfilled we will let you know within 24hrs. We reserve the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time. In these circumstances you will be advised.

DESCRIPTIONS
While we have made every effort to show and describe our products as accurately as possible, in rare cases the final product may differ slightly from the images shown. We sometimes substitute products of a similar description where for example, the original item becomes unavailable. Where this happens we will inform you at the time of ordering. We have tried to describe all products fairly and the weights, dimensions and capacities given are approximate only. Packaging may vary from that shown.

PRICES
All prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT and are subject to change without notice.
Whilst we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

REFUNDS
Refunds will only be made to the PayPal account used to place the order. Cheques / Money Orders refunded by Cheque.
TITLE OF GOODS
Title to the product passes to you at the time of dispatch. We are not liable for damages or loss that is incurred during delivery.
Goods will be sent to the address given by you in your order and stated in the Order Confirmation email.
We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events

RETURNS POLICY
Faulty or damaged items must be notified to Gifts-a-Plenty within 48 hours of delivery in writing (e-mail) and returned within 5 days of delivery
Damaged in Transit -You must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of your goods for any claims of damaged items. If your item has been damaged in transit, either in a small package or large boxed package, you must keep ALL packaging and the item for inspection by a Royal Mail inspection officer, until your claim is completed.
Failure to do so will invalidate your claim and no compensation will be paid.

RETURNS PROCEDURE
Before returning any item please email us at - returns@gifts-a-plenty.co.uk - detailing the item and reason for the return. We will then send you a returns authorization number along with details of how and where to send your return.
We will ask you if you would like us to replace the item (provided it is still available) or refund your payment.
We will authorize the return of an item in the following cases:
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEM
We offer an automatic Post Office standard compensation cover up to £36 for loss or damage. Claims will be determined by the PO claim department. There is an extended compensation cover for more valuable items at cost to the customer, see the table below:
MAXIXMUM COMPENSATION PER PARCEL
 £100 = £1,
 £250 = £2:25
 £500 = £3:50
 You may return any item that was faulty or damaged when received for a full refund. We will refund your payment once we have received and processed the item. In these cases we will also refund the return postage.
DUPLICATE OR INCORRECT ITEM
You may return any duplicate or incorrect item sent to you as a result of our error for a full refund. We will refund your card once we have received and processed the item. In these cases we will also refund the return postage.
UNWANTED ITEM
Unfortunately, due to fragile nature of the majority of our products we cannot refund or exchange an unwanted gift, unless it was sent to you through our error.
In particular, please note that any items returned to us which you claim to be faulty or incomplete are checked and verified when received. Any returned items that are found not to be faulty or incomplete will be returned to you and we shall be entitled to charge you for the return carriage costs. We will hold the item(s) until full payment has been made for the return carriage.
Any items that you return to us are at your own risk, therefore we strongly advise all our customers to take reasonable care when returning any items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed, adequately packaged, carried by a reputable carrier and insured.
Returns are to be packed securely and posted via Royal Mail.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gifts-a-Plenty is providing this site and its contents on an `as is` basis and makes no (and expressly disclaims all) representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this site or the information, content, materials or products included in this site including, without limitation , warranties of merchandise and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Gifts-a-Plenty does not represent or warrant that the information accessible within this site is accurate, complete or current.
We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at anytime without notice. Should the Terms & Conditions change you will be bound by the terms and conditions displayed on the web site at the time of your order.
